Learn the practical approach to treating chronic pain using myofascial release
What is the Practical Myofascial Release Diploma?
Practical Myofascial Release is a structured approach to effectively treating complex chronic pain conditions. It is a distillation of the most effective fascial techniques taken from myofascial release, structural integration, visceral manipulation and craniosacral techniques. It combines clinic treatment with self-help exercises to provide clients with long-lasting effective relief from chronic pain.
What makes the Practical Myofascial Release Diploma different?
Practical Myofascial Release is based on over 13 years clinic experience of treating complex chronic pain conditions using an exclusively myofascial treatment approach. This means we know what works and what doesn’t.
We have experience of successfully treating all common, complex and ‘hard to treat’ chronic pain conditions including RSI, headaches & migraines, back pain, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, fibromyalgia and scar tissue complications.
We also give our clients simple self-help exercises so they can continue to prevent chronic pain in the longer term.
Many of our clients say they come to us ‘as a last resort’ having unsuccessfully tried medical and complementary therapy treatments. We find that we can help them back to pain free living.
What does the Practical Myofascial Release qualification consist of?
The course is taught in two parts, each part lasting 3 days and having a month between.
In part 1 you will learn the basic Practical Myofascial Release techniques for the whole body.
During the month between part 1 and part 2 we ask you to practice the techniques you have learned on willing volunteers.
In part 2 we will consolidate your learning of Practical Myofascial Release, and focus on the treatment of complex chronic pain conditions including effective scar tissue release. We will also share with you how to teach your clients simple and effective self-help exercises.
To complete your training we ask you to submit case studies of 3 practical myofascial release treatments each on 3 clients.
