Practical Myofascial Release Neck & Shoulders is a 2 day accredited CPD course which offers an in-depth opportunity to focus on structures of the upper body, treatment and self-help from a myofascial perspective.
The head, neck and shoulders are complex and pain sensitive structures. The shoulder girdle is one of the key centres in the body providing balance and movement for the upper body through myofascial force transmission. This 2 day accredited CPD course is an in-depth opportunity to focus on the structures of the neck, shoulders and arms, treatment and self-help.
In this course we will:
- Explore the anatomy and fascia of the head, neck, shoulders and arms;
- Look at balance and imbalance in the shoulder girdle, and how this affects the whole body;
- Learn how to treat common conditions such as headaches, migraines, neck pain, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff impingement, TMJ & jaw pain and RSI condition including tennis & golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome & Duputryen’s contracture using myofascial techniques;
- Practise simple self-help exercises to share with clients.
This course will give you invaluable techniques to help make a real difference to clients who come to you with often complex chronic pain conditions.
It is also a useful review for anyone who has already completed our Practical Myofascial Release Diploma, with added techniques and insights.
This course is open only to therapists who have some prior myofascial training. If you haven’t trained us before please contact us before you book.
