Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) Diploma
The Practical Myofascial Release Diploma is a UK accredited post-graduate qualification for bodywork and movement therapists. Our students include massage therapists, physiotherapists, yoga teachers and pilates instructors. The course is a structured approach to effectively treating complex chronic pain conditions. The course is a distillation of the most effective fascial techniques taken from myofascial release, structural integration, visceral manipulation and craniosacral techniques. It combines clinic treatment with self-help exercises to provide clients with long-lasting effective relief from chronic pain. including RSI, headaches & neck pain, back pain, pelvic pain, leg & knee pain, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome and scar tissue complications.
Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) Introduction Day
A one day course for therapists interested in learning more about fascia and myofascial release. It is designed as an introduction to the Diploma for therapists with no prior training in myofascial release techniques.
Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) Fascial Pelvis
An advanced course for therapists with prior myofascial release training such as our Diploma course. The course focuses on treatment of chronic pain conditions affecting the pelvis including piriformis syndrome, SI joint pain, chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS), endometriosis & non-bacterial prostatitis using myofascial techniques.
Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) Neck & Shoulders
An advanced course for therapists with prior myofascial release training such as our Diploma course. This course focuses on treatment of chronic pain conditions affecting the upper body including headaches, migraines, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff impingement, TMJ & jaw pain, tennis & golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome & Duputryen’s contracture using myofascial techniques.
Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) Self-Help Techniques
Myofascial release is not only a powerful hands-on therapy for many complex chronic pain conditions. It is also a very effective self-help technique to use at home. Therapists who have completed this course can offer advice about myofascial self-help techniques tailored for individual clients.
Practical Myofascial Release (PracMFR) for Thai Yoga Massage
Courses for therapists with no prior myofascial release training but who already hold a thai yoga massage qualification. These courses focus on myofascial techniques adapted to floor based treatment and have been developed in association with The School of Thai Yoga Massage.
Other Myofascial Release (MFR) Training
Therapists who come on our courses often also have other prior myofascial training. We choose to list some therapists who have not trained with us because we recognise their level of myofascial release experience as equivalent to our training.
