Tinnitus
Tinnitus is the sensation of sounds in the ears and head, typically a persistent buzzing or ringing noise. It may also be accompanied by ear pain, decreased hearing, dizziness and vision problems.
Tinnitus is often due to tension in the muscles of the neck and head, and often accompanies TMJ (temporomandibular joint ) syndrome or a tightness of the jaw muscles. However, because there can be other causes, it is important to seek suitably qualified medical advice to rule these out, before starting complementary therapy.
